
The latest updates regarding Joe Satriani's new album has finally arrived as the guitar maestro, recently revealed the news via his official newsletter confirming about the new record's title and its release date. According to the email, Joe's new record will be titled Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards and it will be released to the market on October 5.
The record, that once again have a unique title, will have about 11 tracks and song titles such as "Light Years Away", "Wormhole Wizards", "Premonition" and many others that you can at the bottom of this news. Helping the guitar legend, on the record Joe have the likes of Jeff Campitelli on drums, keyboardist Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai) and bassist Allen Whitman (Mermen)
The new album will definitely be something that Satch's fans has been waiting especially after the guitarist have been very busy with Chickenfoot lately, kinda make the devotees misses his instrumental works. Joe himself has also promised that the new album will blow you away by stating, "I love this new record, and I know
you will too!"
Aside from revealing all the latest details about the new album, the guitar master also share another interesting story which is his involvement in Brad Pitt's upcoming movie, "Moneyball". Joe was being asked to recreate his 2002 season opener national anthem that apparently is being used as one of the scenes for the movie.
Explaining about his involvement on the flix, Joe said, "Last week I spent the day at Oakland Stadium with Brad Pitt and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. They're filming a movie called "Moneyball" about the Oakland A's. I was asked me to re-create my 2002 season opener National Anthem for the film. It looks to be a very cool movie focusing on the A's executive Billy Beane. I dressed in 2002 gear, and even used my older equipment. All in the name of authenticity."

The new album would be Gary's new record after 2006's American Made and it should be something interesting to check out for especially the fact that the guitarist hasn't produced a record for about 4 years now.
Aside from the new album' release, Gary is currently busy touring around the states as he have a schedule to perform his music from August 7 until September 17. The fans that manage to catch him up on tour, probably have the privilege in listening to some of the guitarist's new works

Inspired by his latest live recording in Manchester, former Guns N' Roses' guitarist, Slash, prepares another same kind of project for his upcoming Australian shows. The three shows that will be recorded by the renown guitarist are the concert at Melbourne (August 11), Brisbane (August 12) and Sydney (August 16), the record will be created on a limited double disc CD sets.
The upcoming recording is being touted to follow the previous Manchester live recording session that has reportedly been sold out in such a short time, the Australian live recording will also get a full mixing and mastering. The upcoming album is also being set to get a special DigiPak cases which will surely make things look awesomely good to save them.
This album reportedly can be purchased on-line and also at the guitarist' concerts, for those who have the opportunity to watch any of his shows could just get them through all the procedures being set up. A live recording method is a normal kind of marketing products created by lots of musicians during tour, to provide an exciting tour vibes for fans that like to hear those kind of show.
The odd part in the recording would be putting it up so soon as it usually takes a while for fans to get a live album from their favorite artists as the musicians usually combined the CD with the DVD version. However, considering that Slash did had a success with his Manchester Live shows would already had an idea of what he can expect with the album's marketing.
In other news, the guitarist via his social networking account reveal that he is enjoying his latest performance in Surabaya, Indonesia stating, "Surabaya is an amazing R & R destination. I cant believe I never came here before. Fuck, they lost their minds! iiiil ; ),Btw, for the geographically challenged, Surabaya is in Indonesia."

Exciting news comes from Guitar legend, Steve Lukather, as he reportedly is finally ready to release his new album titled, "All's well that Ends well", in two different dates, the European and Japan release is being set apart from the U.S. one. For the European and Japan dates, the new record will be dropped on Monday, October 11, this year, while for U.S. fans they will be able to purchase the album in February 2011.
From the latest information received, the upcoming new record, set to be dropped via Mascot Records, will have about 9 tracks which all of them are being co-wrote by Luke and his friends. Commenting about his new album, Luke stated that he is very excited about it and confirm that the fans will hear about 50 minutes of enjoyable music from the former TOTO guitarist.
"I’m very excited because I have some great new music. I tried for a personal best and worked very hard on all aspects of music. It’s a journey that’s for sure. It is a VERY personal record. You have to check it out in October and tell ME." Luke stated, "There is plenty of music on there, almost 50 minutes. That's ENOUGH. Records used to be no more than 38 minutes tops! Keeps your attention.”
