The new clip was the recording session for a song titled "If This Is Goodbye" which is being recorded at Audacia Studios-Paterno, IT.
It looked to be an interesting one, however it's too bad the clip doesn't show any of Neil's part on record as it we can only see the bass and drum part of the track. Still is for Neil fans it is surely something fun to finally gets something new from the guitar hero aside from his tour schedule off course.

Just as many people have shared and talked, the new Guns N' Roses album and line-up arouse some controversy, especially for some die hard fans that always trying to compare it with the previous GN'R records with the original line up. In order to give his insight regarding the controversy, GN'R's new guitarist Ron Thal (Bumblefoot) talked it all out in an interview with Ultimate-Guitar.
From what, I've read from the Interview Ron do shout out lots of interesting explanation and great comments regarding "Chinese Democracy" and also about some fans opinion that the new Guns N' Roses formation looks more like Axl's side project compare the the original line up band. Speaking about his thought on the band's latest album, he said, "To me, "Chinese Democracy" isn't your typical album where you write it, record it, release it, promote it, and tour. This is a totally different creature, and I think a lot of people needed a minute to realize that for it to sink in, and to stop trying to fit it into the mould of a typical album because it's not a typical album. It's so much more experimental, and it's just a totally different thing. To me, "Chinese Democracy" is "The White Album" for GN'R, in a way."
Meanwhile, about the opinion on the new GN'R line-up, Ron stated that people are being to overworked with their own ideas of hoping the band to reunite, the fact that the current line-up is still a worth watching and hearing stuffs enough to make the guitar hero said that it still is Guns N Roses for him. "There's bigger problems in the world than what a band is calling itself. Jesus, it's fucking rock 'n' roll. We're just going out there, playing, and having a good time. Call it GN'R and enjoy it, that's all. That's my suggestion if the name's really a problem for anyone — if you wanna listen to GUNS N' ROSES, put on the "Appetite" album, be happy, and if you wanna listen to GN'R, put on "Chinese Democracy" and come to a show," Ron said.
Well, it's such a badass answer from Ron, although I somehow find that he is just being honest with what he was saying to people. Another interesting statement coming from Bumblefoot is his opinion in working with Axl Rose, which he said was not as hard as many said. "It's like working with anyone else — it's fine. It's just normal, at least to me. It's just pretty normal, and the funny thing is if I say something positive, the response to that from the sceptics is "Oh, he's getting paid to say that," Ron stated.
To read the complete Interview, just log in to Ultimate-Guitar site, including reading the interesting statement or probably a neat quote from Ron that said: "it's only entertainment, and people believe what entertains them the most. Truth is irrelevant; I can tell the truth, and if it's not entertaining enough, people will call you a liar."

Blige hasn't had much trouble in taking down the classic tune, as through her confession the singer stated that she is actually a long time rock fans. Confirming her passion for rock music, Mary said, "What people don't know about me is I've been a rock 'n' roll fan for years. I loved soft rock as a child. I'm full of this stuff, naturally."
This project is surely something special, to bad I haven't managed to get some comment from Steve as there seems to be nothing special that he commented about the recording as the news source didn't publish any quote from the guitar God. Nevertheless, this special recording is surely something exciting to check out as hearing the guitar legend combines with Randy and Travis, off course there's also Orianthi and Mary would really something I never really imagine before.
The recording process for the legendary song is said to be used for Mary's upcoming new 10th studio album which will be released later this year. Despite news about this recording session and the song that was being cut, there hasn't actually been any further details regarding the singer's upcoming record, whether it is the official date, the type of album although at least the song will make people sees the rock side of Blige.

Another new details and updates is being shared by guitar hero, Slash as he revealed more news to his fans about his upcoming projects especially about the promotional stuffs for his upcoming self titled solo album. Sharing the news via his official Facebook blog, the ex Guns N' Roses axeman revealed that he will be doing promo tour this year and for that he has already set the musicians to help him up on the road and one of them is Alter Bridge's vocalist, Myles Kennedy.
Confirming this news, Slash wrote on his Facebook, "I want to announce that Myles Kennedy is going to be fronting the band for the upcoming tour. Something I'm really stoked about. Myles sang a killer track on the record & I think he is by far one of the best Rock & Roll singers out there today." The rock guitarist also added, "I'm really honored & proud to be working with him. I will announce the other band members shortly."
Not only that, regarding the tour venues, Slash also wanted fans to really get involved and give insights on wherever they would like him to tour. "Lastly, we're starting to route the tour. I want all my fans to follow me on Twitter & tell me what city/country they're from & to tell all their friends & family in that city/country, who are fans, to do the same. I want to get a really good idea on where my fans are, even the obvious major cities & focus the tour around that. So if you're from Alaska or Zimbabwe or anywhere in between I want to hear from you."
Aside from the upcoming tour news, Slash also revealed that he is also working on a project called yournextrecord in which he will be searching and discovering young music talents. Explaining the project, Slash stated, I'm really into the idea of inspiring young guitar players & discovering new talented R&R bands & unleashing them unto the world. Up & coming Rock & Roll talent is getting largely overlooked in the business these days & I want to change that.

Quite frankly I have to be out of this music scenes for some time as I didn't really know that Red Hot Chili Pepper have once again part ways with John Frusciante, until recently I read the news on MusicRadar that not only John has left the band but RCHP already have a replacement for him. According to what I read, Josh Klinghoffer is being touted as the new guitarist for Red Hot as he already play with them at the MusicCares Person Of The Year dinner honoring Neil Young on January 29 in Los Angeles.
However, just as Music Radar stated, there hasn't been any official statement from RHCP regarding this news, or even on John's departure although via his official blog, Frusciante did hinted that he is quitting the band once again. Stating his reason this time around, the 39-years-old guitarist said that it was purely a musical aspect saying, "But this time it was about making a different kind of music, alone, and being my own engineer."
Well, that sums it all, John obviously leaving, but whether Klinghoffer is his permanent replacement or he is just a session player the band temporary using before getting a real replacement?! Well that would be down to the band to answer it as we can only wait. But the fact that Josh has been working with the band as their second guitarist for a while now and reportedly is involved in the band's work for their new album, I can only say that the 30-years-old axeman is indeed the best candidate to take over from Frusciante.
For some of music fans or RHCP devotees that hasn't know much about Josh, well I can only tell you that he is not just some new cat in town, as I previously said the Los Angeles born guitarist has already worked with the band since the Stadium Arcadium tour. Not only that, before his collaboration with the funk-rock act, Klinghoffer has actually team up a few time with Frusciante, mainly working on John's solo record.
So, surely if the band is looking for a proper replacement for John than Josh would be a suitable candidates, simply because he knew them well enough to carry on Frusciante's work without much trouble. However, still is without an official confirmation as just yet, I won't be confirming anything here as the fact that Klinghoffer is known as a session artist that help lots of bands and musicians may provide the fact that he is not that keen on a "long term spell" with any kind of band apart from probably, his own project band.
