Chickenfoot Debut Album Went Gold, Announced Last Show for 2009


Rock super group Chickenfoot are proving their worth as a highly anticipated band especially with their latest achievement, which is getting a Gold certified for their self titled debut album. The band announced the exciting news via their official newsletter and stated that they really-really thanked their fans that have give such a great appreciation for the rockers.

After this acknowledgment that the band have just received, they are set to give more special things for their amazing fans that have supported them so far. According to their official press release, Chickenfoot will be doing special stuffs such as releasing a new deluxe DVD/CD Version, performing a final gig for the year and appearing at Jimmy Kimmel show.

Giving details about their new DVD/CD version, the band revealed that the new package will be released on November 1. According to the press release, some details that have been confirmed about the the upcoming DVD/CD are:
* CD includes all 12 tracks (including Bitten By The Wolf)
* DVD includes an hour of new video footage featuring videos for every song including live performances from Montreux Jazz Festival (Soap on a Rope, Sexy Little Thing & Down The Drain), and exclusive footage from the road, in rehearsal, and in the recording studio. Both official music videos for "Oh Yeah" and "Soap On A Rope" are also included.

Meanwhile, regarding their last show for the year, the band announced that the special date will be on December 5 and it will be staged at The Joint in Las Vegas, NV. For their fan club member, the band have also set a special offer for the fans such as the Meet and Greet session and Sound-check Experience, more details about the special offer can be viewed at Chickenfoot's official site.

Another last thing that the band announced on their official news letter, the band also confirmed that they will be performing at Jimmy Kimmel Show on Friday, November 6. Moreover, the band also revealed that they will be playing two songs at the show, however there are no confirmation as just yet on what tracks that the rockers will perform there.
