Slash Talks New Album Updates and Upcoming Vegas Show

The ex- Guns N'Roses axeman reveals some new updates on his upcoming music projects to his fans via his official MySpace page, revealing the latest info about his upcoming new album and also his upcoming shows. The guitarist stated that his new solo record is already at an advanced stage and look set to release it as soon as possible.

Exciting news arrives for Slash's fans as the guitarist revealed new details about his upcoming solo album revealing that it is already at mixing and mastering stage and set to be release sometime sometime in February or March next year. Moreover the former Guns N'Roses guitarist also revealed that at the moment there are already 18 songs for the new record but he still plans to add one more track soon.

Not only that Slash also revealed on his official MySpace page that the recent article on Wikipedia about the process of his new record is not all correct as there are mistakes on most of the song titles and that confirming that Jason Bonham didn't work with him on the album. "Btw, a friend of mine hipped me to a wikkipedia site that focuses on the development of this album, the details of which are actually pretty accurate, although almost all of the alleged song titles are incorrect. Also, Jason Bonham does not appear on this album. Other than that its pretty right on," Slash wrote.

Beside talking about his new album's progress, the renown guitarist also stated the updates regarding his upcoming show in Vegas by revealing the artists line-up that will be appearing with him at the event. Here is Slash's confirmation about the artists' roosters for the event: "the actual line-up for the Mirage gig Oct 2nd is: Tommy Clufetos on drums, Johnny Griparic on bass, Ted "Zig Zag" Andreadis on keys, John 5 on guitar, myself on guitar & Franky Perez, vocals. That, is basically the house band, my special guests that night are, more or less in this order: Rocco Deluca, Nicole Scherzinger, Courtney Love, Rick Nielson, Robin Zander & Joe Perry. Also, Matt Sorum is jamming a couple songs + there will be some other surprises. I also just got confirmation that the Joe Perry Project is playing as well."

Another news that the guitarist added on his MySpace blog is that he will be performing at a fund raiser event which will be held in LA on November 22. Slash wrote that the show will be staged at the Henry Fonda Theatre and it is dedicated to LA Youth Network (LAYN). More news about this upcoming event will be revealed by the guitar legend as soon as possible.
