Steve Vai Reveals His Favorites Intrumental Albums


The guitar master revealed to his fans some of his favorite Instrumental tracks until this date. Among the list there are songs from other guitar heroes, such as Joe Satriani, Santana, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Being a notable Instrumentalist musician that makes lots of great Instrument music, doesn't stop guitar legend, Steve Vai, from listening too other Instrumental stuffs. This fact can be seen from his recent post on aolradioblog.com, on the blog Steve listed 10 of his favorite Instrumental Songs along with it's reason.

Checking out Steve Vai's list not all of his favorite stuffs are musics from guitar heroes, though most of them are. Tracks from Santana, Joe Satriani, Steve Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Yngwie Malmsteen, Frank Zapaa and Alan Holdsworth are the artists that were on Steve's list.

The interesting thing from Steve's selection is that not all of the songs were popular tracks from the artists, as an example Joe's song that the former Whitesnake guitarist picked was "Is There Love In Space", that isn't as famous as "Crystal Planet or even "Starry Night". It seems that the "For the Love of God" hit maker wanted to give fans alternatives to listen too beside renown tracks from those guitar heroes.

In other news, Steve has also announced an exciting thing for his fans in Romania as on his official MySpace page, the guitar Virtuoso stated that he will make an appearance at a local music festival in the country, called . The guitarist stated that he will be appearig at the Cerbul De Aur (Golden Stag) Festival on Sunday, 6 September, in which he will be accepting a lifetime achievement award on the event and is set to play some songs too.
