Steve Lukather to Play at ManDoki Soulmates Concert


The ex-Toto guitarist will be joining cast of great legendary musicians to play at a special show at the O2 World Music Club in Berlin. The show is a tribute to ManDoki Soulmates where Steve will be playing songs from Mandoki along with other musician, such as Al Di Meola, David Clayton-Thomas, Peter Maffay, Bill Evans, Chris Thompson, Randy Brecker.


An exciting news comes from guitar legend Steve Lukather, as according to his official website, Steve is being tapped to perform at ManDoki Soulmates concert. The ex-Toto guitarist won't be performing alone as he will be joined by other renown musicians such as,Al Di Meola, David Clayton-Thomas, Peter Maffay, Bill Evans, Chris Thompson and Randy Brecker.


On the show that is being set to kick off on August 28 at the O2 World Music Club in Berlin, Germany, Steve will be playing songs from ManDoki instead of his own tracks. This is simply due to the fact that, the guitar master's performance along with other musicians are simply a tribute to the ManDoki.

Beside preparing to perform at the ManDoki special concert, Luke is also gearing for another special appearance at the James Burton International Guitar Festival on August 22. Promoting the upcoming event, the guitar legend stated on his official site, "I am doing this as well. Check the site at JamesBurtonMusic.com for more info and ticket sales. Aside from those two shows above, Steve will also play three more shows in October, the first two will be performances with his son Trev, on October 16 at Brixton South Bay, Redondo Beach, CA and on Octber 17 at Coach House, San Juan Capistrano, CA. The last gig that month will be a special concert as it his a show to celebrate Luke's Birthday, which will be staged at The Roxy, Hollywood CA on October 21.
