The funky-metal act announced the news via their official MySpace blog stating that at Boston they will be performing alone without RATT. "We look forward to a special set for all our friends in Boston. Moreover, both bands are very excited with the upcoming tour and just can't wait for it to start. Speaking his delight, Nuno Bettencourt, Extreme's guitarist said, "One hot summer night. Two bands fully loaded with musicianship. Mix in one part memorable songwriting. Add nine ounces of passionate performers. Throw in three well respected guitarists. Add a touch of West Coast raunch and a hint of East Coast funk. And you get yourself a recipe for one night of unforgettable rock and roll. "

Meanwhile, RATT themselves also expressed their excitement for the tour through their drummer Bobby Blotzer stated "Warren DeMartini and Nuno Bettencourt on same stage, same night?? 'Nuff said, we'll see you there! So this upcoming tour seems to be a special rock and roll experience for all rock fans and would definitely puts the crowd on a ride of a lifetime.
