Marty Friedman Finishes New Album

Exciting news arrives from Marty Friedman as the guitar master announced on his official site that he has just finished a new album titled "Tokyo Jukebox". According to the site, the album that has been worked for about seven months will reflects the chaotic lifestyle of Tokyo, its unique music and Marty`s futuristic interpretation of it.

Here are the official press release from Marty's official site about the album's description:
"Sonically it goes from his "Loudspeaker" lineup all the way to a 70 piece symphony orchestra. Marty covers the most unlikely artists to get his guitar heavy treatment, including Perfume, Maximum the Hormone, AI, Nakashima Mika, Ikimono Gakari and 7 other staples in the world of current Japanese music.

The songs were chosen in part by the readers of "Nikkei Entertainment!", Japan`s all time number one entertainment magazine, which features a popular page on Marty each month for over three years and still going strong."

The new album itself reportedly will be released on May 20 in Japan under Avex, and as for the international release date the former Megadeth guitarist still hasn't confirm and official date as just yet. Moreover on the site, Marty ensured that the upcoming record is the deepest evolution of his guitar playing and his overall musicality.
