Whitesnake and Def Leppard to Play at Download Festival

It looks like June 14, will be marked as an important date for music fans in Dublin as on that day they will have the chance to watch a great rock act at the annual Download Festival. On the music show, rock fans will get the chance to watch two legendary rock band Whitesnake and Def Leppard, not only that beside them there will also other rock legend Journey that has been confirmed to also headline the fest. Tickets for the show will go on sale starting on February 27.

Beside planning to rock their devotees at the festival, on their official website Whitesnake also revealed that before playing at the renown festival they will do some warp up concert first. The band announced that ahead of the Download Festival, they will be playing 3 weeks of shows around Scandinavia and Europe, that will start in Norway on May 21.

On the three weeks show, Whitesnake won't only play in big venues but also in small venues outside of major cities. Revealing on that reason, the band vocalist David Coverdale commented on the site saying, "in these uncertain times, when it is economically difficult for some people to get to see rock shows in their major cities, then it is the responsibility of the artist to take their music to the people."

In other news, Whitesnake guitarist, Doug Aldrich at the moment is still busy with his current guitar clinic schedule. Doug masterclass has been started on February 14 at Nemesis Guitar School in Greece and scheduled to end on February 27 at The Work Music Store in Switzerland.
