Paul Gilbert's New Album to Out in April 2009

Following the latest news about Paul Gilbert's new record United States, this web has just discover that Paul's new CD will be dropped on April 28 via Mascot Records in the U.S. The ex-Mr. Big guitarist has just signed with the label on January 1.

"United States" will be Paul's 13th LP until this year, on the new record that was called as the crossover between Mr.Big and Queen, Paul will be accompanied with renown vocalist Freddie Nelson. The album itself has actually been released in Japan in 2008.

In other news, beside preparing the release of his new record in the U.S. and Europe, Paul is also gearing to do some special performances this year. On January 17, he will play at NAMM 2009 with his band Racer X after that in early February (1-4) the guitar virtuoso will go to Japan with Freddie to promote "United States there. Not only that, later on February starting at February 25, PG will start touring with Richie Kotzen and George Lynch his new project "Guitar Generation", which been labeled as G3 competitor.
