Joe Satriani's Chickenfoot Ready For Mixing

New update regarding guitar legend, Joe Satriani's new band project "Chickenfoot" emerged as according to Blabbermouth, the all star band is ready to mix their first album. According to the site, that great news arrived from Chickenfoot's bassist Michael Anthony who stated on his official web that the band is preparing to mix their first record.

Revealing about the progress of Chickenfoot, Anthony said, "I've been back to working on the new project with the guys, and if I may say so, it's DEFINITELY ROCKIN!! I'll give more updates as things progress. We're getting close to mixing this thing, so stay tuned." This news is definitely a great one for all music fans out there as Chickenfoot looked to be one of the most awaited projects this year.

Despite revealing the fact that the new project is getting closer for a release, Anthony hasn't confirmed any date or other details regarding Chickenfoot's upcoming project. The new band itself consist of four mega star, beside the ex-Van Halen bass player and Joe, Chickenfoot also consist of Sammy Hagar and Chad Smith of Red Hot Chilli Pepper.

In other news, beside preparing his music project, Joe recently is collaborating with Peavey Amps to create a new product called Peavey JSX® 50 guitar amplifier head. Revealing about the new product the guitar master told the press, "Traditionally, 50-watt amps always seemed to have the perfect amount of volume and sag to create a true rock & roll moment. But the golden era of the 50-watt didn’t see a version that had a variety of sounds or that were actually useful tools for the gigging musician. Peavey and I were finally able to bring this idea of a really rockin’ 50-watt into the modern era where real guitar players can use it. We wound up with a really bold, in-your-face sound."
